The British news agency PaRR Global(www.parr-global.com) specialized in antitrust matters, has echoed the legal action filed by our firm against the global parent companies of Mercedes and Volvo, led by our partner Pablo Solá, which is the first claim for damages processed in Spain against the so-called European cartel of truck manufacturers, which was harshly sanctioned by the European Commission in July 2016 by imposing a penalty of three billion euros.

The firm continues, in this way, with its commitment to the private application of antitrust law and claims for damages caused by collusive practices; an area in which it became intensely involved more than ten years ago with the claims made on behalf of Nestlé España, S.A., GRUPO LACASA and other large companies against the so-called sugar cartel and which resulted in two Supreme Court rulings in 2012 and 2013 which, today, continue to constitute the only jurisprudential precedents on the matter in Spain and the reference for any future claim.

In the following link you can access the full text of the news that partially contains the interview made to our partner by the editor of PaRR Global Carmen Perales. First Spanish truck cartel hearing to be held on 4 December
