On January 17, Miguel Ángel Palazón Esteban and Nuria Ribasés Gállego, lawyers of our firm specialized in insolvency law, participated as speakers in a “Workshop on Insolvency Matters” organized by the Instituto de Censores Jurados de Cuentas de España (Agrupación Territorial 8).
Miguel Ángel Palazón Esteban, partner of the legal department of the firm, began his speech with a presentation on the priority of article 176 bis, and on whether the fees of the insolvency administration are necessary, as well as the way in which they must be justified.
Next, the lawyer Nuria Ribasés Gállego dealt with a number of highly topical issues regarding insolvency proceedings: The action of reinstatement in groups of companies, commercial transactions, guarantees, gratuitous transactions and cross interests.
The training of professionals involved in an insolvency proceeding is essential to ensure the proper development of the same and to ensure the right of defense of all parties affected by an insolvency proceeding; and, for that reason, our firm is always willing to collaborate and participate in this type of training initiatives.
